After the Winter Holiday service this Sunday, December 18th, please stick around to enjoy a party for all ages hosted by the RE Committee, and a Cookie Swap to raise money for the new playground.<\/p>\n
Bring some hearty, nutritious finger foods to share, and join in the fun!<\/p>\n
What is a Cookie Swap? \u00a0Bake a dozen or more of your favorite cookie recipe(s), and bring them to the church. (You may also purchase a dozen or more of your favorite cookies from your favorite bakery, but if you’re a compulsive holiday baker anyway, just throw on a dozen or so for your church!). For a donation of your choosing, you’ll have the opportunity to share your own and take home a generous sample of everyone else’s!<\/p>\n
Other party activities will include cookie-decorating with Rovena and Boogie Windsor, the usual action-packed Dreidel table with the Orchards (oh, I suppose you think I’m kidding about “action-packed”?), some new holiday crafts with Pam Holt Elizabeth Just and Pamela Raintree, and of course, giftwrapping the presents for our Angel Tree.<\/p>\n
We are fortunate to have several adults who’ve stepped up to teach and supervise crafts, but we can still use a couple of people to supervise and assist our giftwrappers. Donations of extra paper and ribbon will also be appreciated.
