\"\"<\/a>Please join us on Sunday (19 June 2022) at 11:00 AM for “In the Shadow of Bloody Caddo:\u00a0 Reflections on Reconstruction in Northwest Louisiana” by Frank Severic (graduate research assistant at the Northwest Louisiana Archives at LSU-Shreveport).<\/p>\n

In light of the antiracism work we are doing and in light of the current trend to try to hide or erase real history, we need these reckonings with the history of our community and our nation.<\/p>\n

Please join us as we welcome Mr. Severic to our pulpit.<\/p>\n

We will be meeting in the sanctuary for this worship service.\u00a0 Please join us in person at All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, 9449 Ellerbe Road, Shreveport LA\u00a0 71106<\/a>\u00a0if you are able to do so.<\/p>\n

Our service will also be livestreamed on Facebook Live here if you cannot attend in person<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Although the number of new COVID cases and hospitalizations has increased<\/a> in the Shreveport metro area, we are still safe to have to in-person worship at this time.<\/p>\n

When we are indoors at All Souls, we will continue to require proof of vaccination for all attendees ages 11 and up.\u00a0 However, if you cannot be vaccinated, we also accept a negative COVID test in the past 24 hours.\u00a0 We are also required the wearing of masks for all in-person attendees.<\/p>\n

Religious education classes for children and youth resumes this Sunday as well.\u00a0 The children and youth will be with us for the first 15-20 minutes of the worship service before we sing them out to their classes.<\/p>\n

Our June 2022 give-away-the-plate recipient is Louisiana Trans Advocates<\/a>.<\/p>\n
