Barbara Jarrell.<\/p>\n<p>It is the beginning of the church year and a time to turn our focus to our Unitarian Universalist identity, history, and heritage.<\/p>\n<p>We will be meeting in the sanctuary for this worship service.\u00a0 Please join us in person at <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/YCVJBHuJ8GAsDJGL8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, 9449 Ellerbe Road, Shreveport LA\u00a0 71106<\/a>\u00a0if you are able to do so.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/allsoulsshreveport\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Our service will also be livestreamed on Facebook Live here if you cannot attend in person<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/covidactnow.org\/us\/metro\/shreveport-bossier-city_la\/?s=30701928\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Although the number of new COVID cases and hospitalizations has increased<\/a> in the Shreveport metro area, we are still safe to have to in-person worship at this time.<\/p>\n<p>We no longer require proof of vaccination against COVID for all attendees ages 11 and up for indoor events.<\/p>\n<p>However, we do strongly encourage that anyone attending our worship services or other indoor events at All Souls be vaccinated against COVID.<\/p>\n<p>We are also required the wearing of masks for all in-person attendees for all indoor events.<\/p>\n<p>Religious education classes for children and youth resumes this Sunday as well.\u00a0 The children and youth will be with us for the first 15-20 minutes of the worship service before we sing them out to their classes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/allsoulsshreveport.org\/site\/2022\/09\/02\/highland-center-ministries-september-2022-give-away-the-plate-recipient\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Our September 2022 give-away-the-plate recipient is Highland Center Ministries<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/allsoulsshreveport.org\/site\/2022\/03\/06\/online-and-offline-giving-options-during-covid-19-pandemic-updated-6-march-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">And you can contribute to All Souls using this online resource<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please join us this Sunday (4 September 2022) at 11:00 AM for &#8220;For the Life of Our Living Tradition&#8221; by Rev.
