He currently serve on the Council as Membership Committee Chair, has served on the Board in various positions, including as a past president, taught Religious Education classes, acted as a substitute sexton, and regularly helps with both the Saturday Work Days and the Community Garden.<\/p>\n<p>If you somehow manage to ask him a question that he doesn\u2019t know the answer to, he laughs and says that he will find out \u2014 and he does. For all these reasons, the Council is happy to name Ron Thurston as our Volunteer of the Month.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What word best describes our Volunteer of the Month for September 2012 ?
