{"id":188,"date":"2009-04-01T18:00:06","date_gmt":"2009-04-01T23:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/allsoulsuushreveport.org\/cms\/?p=188"},"modified":"2018-06-09T21:57:23","modified_gmt":"2018-06-10T02:57:23","slug":"betty-parent-march-2009-volunteer-of-the-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/allsoulsshreveport.org\/site\/2009\/04\/01\/betty-parent-march-2009-volunteer-of-the-month\/","title":{"rendered":"Betty Parent &#8212; March 2009 Volunteer of the Month"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The All Souls Program Council voted to honor Betty Parent as our Volunteer of the Month for March 2009.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->We are thankful for her vital work supporting the building, grounds and people of the church.<\/p>\n<p>As  Building and Grounds Chair, she and Franklin Adams have brought new  energy and enthusiasm to making the place sharp and shiny for Sunday  services and wedding rentals.<\/p>\n<p>Scheduling numerous work days,  taking on hard tasks and cooking delicious beignets for the other  volunteers, she has motivated more members to join in.<\/p>\n<p>And at  least twice a month, she has been volunteering in the nursery, sharing  her loving presence with our youngest members.
