{"id":3233,"date":"2014-03-07T20:59:06","date_gmt":"2014-03-08T02:59:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/allsoulsshreveport.org\/site\/?p=3233"},"modified":"2014-03-07T20:59:06","modified_gmt":"2014-03-08T02:59:06","slug":"getcovered-shreveport-8-march-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/allsoulsshreveport.org\/site\/2014\/03\/07\/getcovered-shreveport-8-march-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"#GetCovered Shreveport (8 March 2014)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>#GetCovered Shreveport will be happening at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Mall+St+Vincent\/@32.4772856,-93.7528301,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x8636d2a8bd886ddf:0xe4ac4c0e39ff9f88\" target=\"_blank\">Mall St. Vincent<\/a> (in front of Sears) on Saturday (8 March 2014) from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM<\/p>\n<p>Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover is leading a massive mission to get Shreveport residents enrolled under the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Patient_Protection_and_Affordable_Care_Act\" target=\"_blank\">Affordable Care Act<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Get Covered Shreveport&#8221; campaign is being spearheaded by local barbers, beauticians, health care professionals, community and faith-based organizations committed to helping people prepare to register on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Volunteers will be available at this event to help individuals enroll on the spot.<\/p>\n<p>The #GetCovered Shreveport Day of action seeks to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inform people about new coverage options and the financial assistance available<\/li>\n<li>Provide information to help people make the best health care decision for themselves and their families<\/li>\n<li>Offer trained counselors to discuss appropriate options, either in person or via telephone<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In order to enroll, applicants will need the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Social Security numbers (or document numbers for legal immigrants)<\/li>\n<li>Employer and income information for every member of your household who needs coverage (for example, pay stubs or W-2 forms)<\/li>\n<li>Policy numbers for any current health insurance plans covering household members.<\/li>\n<li>A completed Employer Coverage Tool for every job-based plan you or someone in your household is eligible.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For more information &#8212; call 1-800-318-2596 or visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthcare.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.healthcare.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>#GetCovered Shreveport will be happening at Mall St. Vincent (in front of Sears) on Saturday (8 March 2014) from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover is leading a massive mission to get Shreveport residents enrolled under the Affordable Care Act.
