Immediately following the 10:30 AM worship service, please join us in saying “farewell” to Tamila and Sarah Allen.<\/p>\n
We are saying entirely too many farewells these days, but (even as we mourn the loss to our community) we congratulate Tamila Allen on a new job opportunity in Dallas and offer her our best wishes as she makes this move. \u00a0Her youngest daughter Sarah Allen will be going with her.<\/p>\n
Tamila has been a member for most of the last 12 years, and a very active participant in many aspects of church life — especially in the Religious Education program (where she has taught every class numerous times and where her children — Megan, Katie and Sarah — have all participated).<\/p>\n
Most recently, she and John Ratcliff spent the entire year in the Middle School\/High School class (for which they, their parents and all of us are very thankful). \u00a0She has also served on and chaired the Religious Education Committee.<\/p>\n
Sarah has lent her hand and voice to many volunteer efforts at the church and to a number of multi-generational services (including the one this Sunday morning).<\/p>\n
We will miss them both terribly, so bring some snacks to share and let’s give Tamila a proper sendoff.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
