Stewart has written a compelling history of the founding of our nation that includes quite a few stories your teacher never told you and is also a history of ideas that shaped our nation.<\/p>\n

It serves to refute a frequent claim heard nowadays that our nation was founded as a “Christian nation.”<\/p>\n

This Sunday we finish\u00a0our discussion of\u00a0Chapter 7 — “The Empire of Reason.”<\/p>\n
