We will continue our exploration of our fifth source<\/a> (“Humanist teachings which counsel us to heed the guidance of reason and the results of science, and to avoid idolatries of the mind and spirit”).<\/p>\n

We will have a second collection for the Financial Ministry of Highland Center Ministries and Pelican State Credit Union (which offers lower cost loans that are a viable alternative to the payday lending debt trap. \u00a0Several members of the Board are collaborating to match up to $1000 so know that whatever you contribute is likely to be doubled and then matched again by Pelican. \u00a0Plan now to give to this very worthy cause tomorrow morning.<\/p>\n
