{"id":4586,"date":"2015-07-11T12:51:23","date_gmt":"2015-07-11T17:51:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/allsoulsshreveport.org\/site\/?p=4586"},"modified":"2015-07-11T12:51:23","modified_gmt":"2015-07-11T17:51:23","slug":"deep-fun-games-12-july-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/allsoulsshreveport.org\/site\/2015\/07\/11\/deep-fun-games-12-july-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"Deep Fun Games &#8212; 12 July 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During the summer, we move from our regular routine of Religious Education to creative multi-generational activities and projects for children and youth.<\/p>\n<p>For this Sunday (12 July 2015), we will do cooperative community-building games using the &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.uua.org\/re\/youth\/start\/deepfun\" target=\"_blank\">Deep Fun<\/a>&#8221; collection of games provided by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uua.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Unitarian Universalist Association<\/a>:<!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Games have always been an important part of Unitarian Universalist (UU) youth culture. Games are played in youth group meetings, at conferences, during worships, or to break up a business plenary session. Although games are a wonderful way to socialize, they can also fulfill other goals of successful youth programming. They can be a vehicle for learning, leadership, worship, and even social action.
