All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church is pleased to announce their Annual Gala and Silent Auction will be held on Saturday (28 April 2018) from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.<\/p>\n

The church\u2019s largest fundraiser of the year will be held at the church (9449 Ellerbe Road, Shreveport LA\u00a0 71106<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Live music will be provided by Jim Huckabay and Sandra Odom.<\/p>\n

Exceptional items will be auctioned off in both live and silent auctions and include gift certificates, art, event tickets, and much more.<\/p>\n

The theme for this year\u2019s event is “Buy Buy Birdie” (inspired by the beloved 1963 musical).<\/p>\n

Attendees are encouraged to dress to impress \u2013 poodle skirts, saddle shoes, cardigan sweaters, and wingtip shoes.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the event are $25.00 in advance and $35.00 at the door and are available for purchase Sunday mornings before and after the 11:00 AM worship service or by calling the church office at (318) 868-3313<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Raffle tickets are available for $1.00.\u00a0 Raffle prizes include a free Strawn\u2019s pie, potted plants from Lex\u2019s Plant Farm and Akin\u2019s Nursery, and more.<\/p>\n

All Souls is home to a variety of ministries, including religious education for children and adults, Eastern meditation, and many social groups.<\/p>\n

All Souls also provides a meeting place for many area groups, including Northern and Central Louisiana Interfaith, support groups, Louisianans for Prison Alternatives, \u00c1r nDra\u00edocht F\u00e9in, Louisiana Trans Advocates, and more.<\/p>\n

Originally founded by an interfaith couple<\/a>, All Souls has been home to liberal religion in Northwest Louisiana for more than 70 years.<\/p>\n

All Souls continues to affirm and promote core principles, such as the inherent worth and dignity of every person.<\/p>\n

All Souls believes that we need not think alike to love alike.<\/p>\n
