Please join us on Sunday (3 May 2020) at 9:15 AM for our adult religious education class via Zoom.<\/p>\n

We will be starting Faith Forward:\u00a0 Spiritual Practice with “Session 2 — Finding Your Spiritual Practice.”<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As we enter our focus on personal spiritual growth and development, we’ll look at this program (developed by First Unitarian Church of Dallas, Texas<\/a>) where members are asked to commit to a daily spiritual practice, monthly communal worship, an annual retreat, and at least one once-in-a-lifetime experience of pilgrimage (not necessarily a geographic pigrimage).<\/p>\n

The second session will include an experience of meditation as well as a look at the difference between spiritual exploration and spiritual discipline (both of which are important to a spiritual life).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
