For the month of October, the All Souls Council proudly selected one of our most valued members, Claudia Harris.
We all know Claudia for her work as Board President and for her quietly thoughtful sermons, but few of us realize how much vital work she does away from the spotlight.
When recent storms had Shreveport in their crosshairs, Claudia labored with other sturdy volunteers to protect the church, and on the Sunday morning after the remnants of Ike passed by, she rose early to move sandbags back out of the way.
She’s also taught in religious education, tended the nursery, worked on the grounds, and even secretly cleaned the kitchen.
