The All Souls Program Council voted to honor Betty Parent as our Volunteer of the Month for March 2009.
We are thankful for her vital work supporting the building, grounds and people of the church.
As Building and Grounds Chair, she and Franklin Adams have brought new energy and enthusiasm to making the place sharp and shiny for Sunday services and wedding rentals.
Scheduling numerous work days, taking on hard tasks and cooking delicious beignets for the other volunteers, she has motivated more members to join in.
And at least twice a month, she has been volunteering in the nursery, sharing her loving presence with our youngest members. Betty’s presence at the Parking Spot of Honor will make it all the more special this month.
