We will have our Easter Egg Hunt immediately after the 11:00 AM Easter worship service (5 April 2015).
We’re asking parents (and anyone else who can help) to bring a dozen filled plastic eggs to the church before 5 April 2015.
You can fill the eggs with candy, small toys, stickers, temporary tattoos or any kid-safe treasures we haven’t thought of yet.
Be sure to mark your eggs as safe or not safe for children under 3.
Items unsafe for kids under 3 would include:
- hard candies
- gum
- nuts
- extremely chewy candy
- toys small enough to be choking hazards
Good morning, we will be in LA for Easter and are unfamiliar with churches or any Easter celebrations. We do not want our 4.5 year old to miss church and the meaning of Easter. How far are you from Donaldsonville? This is where we will be staing.
Chris — I just checked on Google Maps. Donaldsonville LA is over 4 hours from Shreveport LA.
The Unitarian Universalist congregations in Baton Rouge, Hammond, and New Orleans are all closer to Donaldsonville than All Souls Shreveport is.
