Our class continues this Sunday (26 April 2015) at 9:30 AM with discussions of The Good Heart: A Buddhist Perspective on the Teachings of Jesus by the Dalai Lama.
We will read and reflect on Matthew 5: 1-10 (The Beatitudes) following the Dalai Lama’s advice to take time for our own reflections on the passage before “reflecting on someone else reflecting on someone else.”
We will then have a period of silent medidation, after which we will take time to talk about the Dalai Lama’s comments and how they affected your own perspective.
We have nine more copies of the book available at the church this week and we can order more as needed.
