Our class continues this Sunday (10 May 2015) at 9:15 AM with discussions of The Good Heart: A Buddhist Perspective on the Teachings of Jesus by the Dalai Lama.
On Sunday, May 10th, we will read and reflect on Mark 4:26-34 (“The Kingdom of God” — Chapter 5 in The Good Heart). In the class, we have a reading of the passage as translated for the Dalai Lama, followed by a period of silent meditation. We then discuss our own thoughts on the reading, as well as the Dalai Lama’s comments.
We have eight more copies of the book available at the church this week and we can order more as needed.
