Each month we dedicate all of our non-pledge income to a community organization doing the work that best embodies our Unitarian Universalist values.
For the month of April 2025, we choose Volunteers for Youth Justice.
As their mission statement says, Volunteers for Youth Justice seeks to “provide a caring community for children, youth, and families in crisis” and they do so through many programs:
- CASA Volunteers (Court Appointed Special Advocates for children in foster care)
- FINS program (Families in Need of Services)
- Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®)
- Truancy Assessment Service Center
- Jump Start Program and the youth services provided by them
Two ways to donate:
