On Sunday (30 September 2012) immediately following the 11:00 AM worship service, the Exploratory Committee will present the first in a series of town hall meetings.
This committee appointed by the All Souls Board to explore the options for the geographical future of our congregation will host the first of a series of informational Town Hall Meetings to report on its findings so far.
The meeting will happen on 30 September 2012 after the worship service and will take place in the Social Hall in conjunction with a potluck.
On the heels of the recent erosion repair and the capital campaign that financed it, we are taking this time to begin a thoughtful conversation on the issues of staying in our current location and preserving and adapting it to suit our mission, or moving to another location where we might be more needed and where our mission might be better served.
In the interest of an informed discussion, the committee has formed the “Go Team” and the “Stay Team” to investigate the possibilities of either eventuality.
Please note that the decision to stay or go will not be made by this committee or the Board, but by you — the members of the Congregation.
