Volunteers for Youth Justice — January 2023 Give-Away-The-Plate Recipient

Each month we dedicate all of our non-pledge income to an organization doing the work that best embodies our Unitarian Universalist principles and values.

For the month of January 2023, we choose Volunteers for Youth Justice (VYJ).

Volunteers for Youth Justice is a community-supported non-profit that annually recruits, trains, and supports hundreds of volunteers to provide services for children, youth, and families at risk.

Their services include CASA volunteers (Court Appointed Special Advocates), a Conflict Resolution program for youth, a Truancy Assessment Service Center, Teen Court, Leadership Academy, and many more programs that serve youth and families in our community.
