Countdown to the Gala …

3.  Get your tickets (we have some donated tickets from those unable to attend, so if money is tight, please ask a board or staff member)

2.  Plan your costume – there’s still time! — A bed sheet could be a toga, old jeans with a hat, flannel shirt and some pine straw make you a scarecrow, or come as you were 20 years ago or as you think you’ll be in 20 years.

1.  Come to the Gala and have great food, music and fun!

Please come and find bargains at our garage sale (Saturday, 17 May 2014, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Gibson household – 9312 Wiscassett Drive, Shreveport LA).

You may drop your garage sale items off at the Gibson’s house starting Saturday, 10 May 2014.

Please join us on Saturday (1 February 2014) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM for our media sale.  Here’s what might happen:

• You have the perfect opportunity to reduce, reuse and recycle.
• You finally find the DVD of that wonderful, obscure indy film you’ve been seeking for years, or the one book by your favorite author that you never got around to reading, or that perfectly functional little TV or radio you can put in the kitchen.
• The church makes a little money — everybody wins — what’s not to love?

It’s still not too late to donate your unwanted media items, including books, CDs, DVDs, TVs, cameras, stereos, radios, media players of all sorts.  Bring them by the church on Friday (31 January 2014) between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

Our Annual Gala and Silent Auction starts at 6:00 PM tonight (Saturday, 26 October 2013).

Enjoy music from Professor Porkchop and the Dirty Dishes, a photo booth from Sharron Foster Photography, dinner from Lilah’s, and the chance to bid on nearly 100 items (antiques, gift cards, art, jewelry, and more).

The gala is happening at the church (9449 Ellerbe Road, Shreveport LA).

Tickets are $25.00 at the door.  See you there!
