Tasks inside and out — for all ages and abilities.
Most of the work to maintain our building and grounds is done by volunteers on these monthly work days. It’s also a great way to get to know your All Souls friends better as you work side by side.
In accordance with the bylaws of our church and as Secretary of the Board, I hereby announce that All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church will hold a Congregational Meeting:

All active members should attend this meeting or give their proxies to those who can.
Inactive members and friends of the church are invited and encouraged to participate, but bylaws stipulate that only those members who have been active 30 days or longer may vote.
We must have a quorum. Childcare provided.
Please join us on Saturday (10 May 2014) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
We’ll be putting the Social Hall back together now that the painting is done, and there will be many other tasks, inside and out.
Stay the whole time, come work for an hour or so, or just drop by with some snacks for the crew! Working side by side is a great way to build community with your All Souls friends and your friends-to-be.
Come help us put the second coat of paint on the Social Hall this Saturday (3 May 2014) from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Noon and 1:00 PM until we finish.
Considering we finished early last week (and the second coat should go more smoothly) enough hands should make light, quick, and fun work!
On this Saturday (26 April 2014) and again on next Saturday (3 May 2014), we will be painting the Social Hall from 9:00 AM -12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
Hanging out with your All Souls friends, getting to know them better as you make the church look better, just might fun. Come all day, both days, or just an hour or two — whatever you can manage. See you there.

Do what you can, and get to know your All Souls friends better working side by side. Bringing snacks for the crew is most welcome too.
If you are a regular with our congregation, you have seen John and Tamila actively supporting our church.
John is always there engaging members — new and old alike — in meaningful conversation. Tamila balances work and parenting along with her service to All Souls. John and Tamila constitute the team that mentors the middle and high school youth.
For their weekly work with our youth and more, we award them jointly the title of February 2014 Volunteers of the Month.
Please join us on Saturday (8 February 2014) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM — there will be tasks both indoors and outdoors for all ages and abilities. And snacks for the work crew will be there to show our appreciation.

This week we will be concentrating on cleaning and straightening the nursery and classrooms. Come and join us for a little time or for the whole time.
