Christmas Eve Candlelight Worship Service Tonight (24 December 2022)

Please join us on Christmas Eve (Saturday, 24 December 2022) at 6:30 PM for our annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Worship Service.

This is a candlelight service including a reading of the Christmas story from the Gospel of Luke, lighting candles in the darkness, silence, meditation, and carols.

All ages are welcome.

Please bring the kids by 5:45 PM to help us with something special at the beginning of the service.  We are trying something a little different and a lot of fun this year.

And please bring cookies and other snacks that are just sitting around the house and share them with others in the social hall after the service.

We will be meeting in the sanctuary for this worship service.  Please join us in person at All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, 9449 Ellerbe Road, Shreveport LA  71106 if you are able to do so.

Our service will also be livestreamed on Facebook Live here if you cannot attend in person.

Starting on 13 November 2022, masks will be optional indoors at All Souls.

Anyone who prefers to keep wearing a mask is welcome to do so.

We will still have KN95 masks available in the foyer for anyone who needs one.

We no longer require proof of vaccination against COVID for all attendees ages 11 and up for indoor events.

However, we do strongly encourage that anyone attending our worship services or other indoor events at All Souls be vaccinated against COVID.

Please use good judgment and stay home if you have any symptoms.  Even those who have tested negative for COVID can later test positive.

Our December 2022 give-away-the-plate recipient is North Louisiana Interfaith.

Remember to support our “mitten tree” cold weather children’s clothing drive for Maggie Lee’s Closet.
