New UU Class – “Polity and Governance: Our Tradition of Covenant”

The next “New UU” class meets on Tuesday (8 November 2011) at 6:30 PM.  The session topic will be “Polity and Governance: Our Tradition of Covenant.”

Also great for the Not-So-New UU, this new UU class offers an overview of Unitarian Universalist history, religious education, polity and governance and our tradition of social justice.

This week, we’ll explore the workings of our congregation and our Association, and the longstanding tradition of covenants within and among Unitarian Universalist Congregations.

A chance to learn more about our congregation and our faith, and to form closer relationships within a small group of fellow members and friends. All sessions stand well on their own and are open to newcomers, although we do encourage you to take the complete series of classes when you can.

There will be no class on Tuesday, 15 November 2011, because of the Board and Council Meeting.  The last session is on 22 November 2011.
