Please join us for “A Taste of Interfaith” — A fundraiser for Northern and Central Louisiana Interfaith — on Sunday (18 October 2015) from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
This year’s host for this event is Church for the Highlands / Highland Center Ministries (520 Olive Street, Shreveport LA)
Tickets are $25.00 per person / $200.00 per table of eight.
This special event will feature:
- Great food representing the rich cultural diversity of our member institutions.
- Terrific entertainment from the choirs, soloists, praise dance teams and others from our congregations.
- Great silent auction bargains, just in time for early holiday shopping.
Proceeds will further the work of Interfaith around issues that include:
- Ending mass incarceration.
- Reforming and providing alternatives to the payday lending industry.
- Improving access to health care for all our citizens by accepting Medicaid expansion.
- Instituting an employer-driven workforce development intermediary to provide much needed skilled workers for the industries that need them, and living wage jobs with benefits for the under-employed of our community.
