Meditation with Larry Androes (13 March 2021)
Please join us on Saturday (13 March 2021) at 10:30 AM for our weekly meditation group with Larry Androes.
This is a sitting Buddhist meditation including a brief introduction to mindfulness meditation, 20 minutes of sitting, and followed by a weekly teaching.
The group is free and open to all.

Online All-Ages Worship (7 March 2021)
Please join us on Sunday (7 March 2021) at 11:00 AM for “Against the Bias” by Rev. Barbara Jarrell. Rev. Barbara is back in the pulpit this week reminding us to acknowledge and challenge our biases.
Our service will be livestreamed on Facebook Live here.
We will have a virtual coffee hour after the service on Zoom.

Holy Cross Hope House — March 2021 Give-Away-The-Plate Recipient
Our Give Away the Plate recipient for the month of March 2021 is Holy Cross Hope House (a day shelter for the homeless at 762 Austen Place, Shreveport LA 71101).
This month, we’re asking that when you donate money for Hope House to All Souls and All Souls will get the money to Hope House at the end of the month.
Two ways to donate:
Online — Go to our donation site using this link. If you are paying your pledge, select “2021 Pledges” and enter that amount for your pledge contribution. Then select “Collection Plate” to give the amount you would like to give to Hope House. All online collection plate contributions for the month of March 2021 will go to Hope House.
Offline — Please send your Give Away the Plate contribution checks to All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, 9449 Ellerbe Road, Shreveport LA 71106. Please put “Hope House” on the memo line of the check if you want to have 100% of this check go to Hope House. If you want less than 100% of the check go to Hope House, please put the amount you want going to Hope House on the memo line.
Online Religious Education for Children (7 March 2021)
Please join us online for our family religious education class on Sunday (7 March 2021) at 1:00 PM via Zoom. The Zoom link will be available on the All Souls Slack and on the All Souls Religious Education Facebook Group.
Today we’ll hear a story from the Shinto tradition of Japan about Amaterasu (the Goddess of the Sun) and play some games that were promised last week.

UPDATE — Noel Food Pantry Donation Drive This Week (7 March 2021)
Today (Sunday, 7 March 2021) from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Melissa Lewis will be at All Souls collecting donations for the Noel United Methodist Church food pantry.
The Noel Food Bank is asking for new and unused travel-size toiletries:
- lotion
- toothbrushes
- shampoo
- conditioner
- body wash
- deodorant
No mouthwash please.
