Please join us next Wednesday (23 June 2021) at 12 noon for our weekly Zoom lunch.
Bring your lunch and meet up with your All Souls friends, have lunch, and just catch up.
There will be no Zoom lunch this Wednesday (16 June 2021) because Susan Caldwell (All Souls Director of Religious Education) will be attending the LREDA (Liberal Religious Educators Association) Professional Days leading up to next week’s 2021 UUA General Assembly (GA).
Susan’s GA schedule should still allow her to host Zoom Lunch the following week (Wednesday, 23 June 2021) at noon.
This Sunday (13 June 2021), please join us for Tie-Dye Sunday beginning at 1:30 PM on the back patio for creating wearable tie-dye art.
Masks will be required for all participants.
We will be working outside under the covered breezeway next to the patio.
Traditionally, this has been an opportunity for children and youth to create one-of-a-kind gifts for their Dads and/or other special grownups in their lives (Father’s Day is the following Sunday — 20 June 2021).
We usually have enough supplies that our children can do a shirt or other garment for themselves as well.
Adult volunteers are also welcome to dye a shirt as long as we have ample resources for the children and youth.
Susan Caldwell (All Souls Director of Religious Education) will be there for people to start projects between 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM.
She will stay until everyone is done.
If you can volunteer to help, text Susan at 318-465-3427, send her a Facebook message, email her, or find the Tie-Dye post on the All Souls Religious Education Facebook group and write in the comments that you can help and when you are available.
Please bring a 100% cotton t-shirt or other garment (tote bags or aprons also welcome).
Dyes do better on a pre-washed garment, and look better on white or lighter colors.
We will have some extra t-shirts, bandanas, and face masks available for a suggested donation (though money need never be an obstacle to the tie-dye experience).
Please join us on Saturday (12 June 2021) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM for our monthly building and grounds work day.
There are tasks indoors and out for all ages and abilities — contact Eric First at (318) 518-8257 for more information.
Come for the whole time or for whatever part of the day you can make it.
Hope to see you there.
