We are proud to honor Betty Parent as our April 2014 Volunteer of the Month.

Always ready to tackle any problem with only the tools at hand, Betty whipped the church grounds into shape.

Betty improvised brilliant solutions to the church’s building and grounds problems.  She was always present at Building and Grounds Work Days.

Not content to just deal with the physical needs of the church,
Betty is also serves as a nursery volunteer and organizes All Souls potlucks.

For all that she does, Betty is the April 2014 Volunteer of the Month — she gets our deepest respect and a parking place.

Our BOLTs (Bearers of Light and Tradition) are our March 2014 Volunteers of the Month.

Each Sunday, All Souls is reminded of our sources and principles through the work of five dedicated children and youth — Sam First, Gretchen Upton, Eleanora Lawrence, and Andrew Lawrence.

They make up our current team of Bearers of Light and Tradition more affectionately known as BOLTs.

In addition to public speaking and playing with fire, the children and youth pass the offering plates and many of them also perform in the All Souls theatrical productions.  Most recently, these junior members along with John Allen and Amanda Lawrence put on a most excellent production of Dr. Suess’s The Sneetches.

We appreciate the work all these young people do for All Souls each Sunday.

We are delighted to honor Corey Robertson as a September 2013 Volunteer of the Month.

In the relatively short time attending All Souls, he’s shown a limitless capacity to contribute to our community in any way he can. He’s been a staple at the building and grounds workdays and has shown great enthusiasm during adult religious education classes.  He never hesitates to share his experience and perspective in thoughtful and engaging manner.

We thank Bob for his musician gifts that he shares with on every Sunday singing in the choir or performing a folk musician.  We also thank Bob for his work in our wider community as an Alternatives to Violence Project facilitator/educator.

As a dedicated member of All Souls, Pam contributes her time to Buildings and Grounds work days, teaching and serving as a last-minute substitute teacher in our Religious Education classes, singing in the All Souls Choir, and serving as a worship associate.
