Please join us on Sunday (17 March 2013) at 11:00 AM for “Our Nature to Create” by Rev. Barbara Jarrell. The All Souls Choir will be singing in this service.
If you’re a fan of traditional Irish music, please come early at 10:15 AM to hear Bob Jordan playing in the Social Hall prior to this service.
A Special Congregational Meeting and St. Patrick’s Day Potluck will follow this service in the Social Hall.
Our Special Congregational Meeting will be in the Social Hall in conjunction with a St. Patrick’s Day potluck immediately after the 17 March 2013 worship service.
Bring a dish to share (something green or Irish would be great but this is not required).
Stay for the meeting and fellowship. If you haven’t read the Buildings and Grounds Erosion Engineering Report before the meeting, you may want to do so. You can find the report on the All Souls website here (requires Adobe Acrobat or other PDF reader software).
In accordance with the Bylaws of our church, and as Secretary of the Board, I hereby announce that All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church will hold a Special Congregational Meeting.
Date: Sunday, 17 March 2013 at 12:30 PM in the sanctuary.
On the Agenda: Vote on whether to remain here in our current building or move to another location.
Please make every effort to attend. All active members should attend this meeting or give their proxies to those who can.
Inactive members and friends of the church are invited and encouraged to participate, but bylaws stipulate that only those members who have been active 30 days or longer may vote.
We must have a quorum.
Childcare provided.
Please joins us this Saturday (9 March 2013) and on every second Saturday from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM for our monthly building and grounds work day.
Tasks inside and out, for all ages and abilities. Stay for an hour or the whole time, or if you can’t stay, why not drop off snacks for the crew? Doughnuts are always in simple good taste.
Please join us this Sunday (17 February 2013) after the 11:00 AM worship service for a Visioning Potluck.
Children and youth will be welcome to join us for lunch, and for the conversation as their interests lead them. They are our future after all. Child care will also be available.
Please join us this Sunday (20 January 2013) for our 11:00 AM Worship where we celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Our speaker will be noted civil rights attorney and All Souls member Henry Walker.
A Special Congregational Meeting and Town Hall Meeting with the Exploratory Committee will follow the service.
