Online All-Ages Worship (12 April 2020)

Please join us on Sunday (12 April 2020) at 11:00 AM for our Easter Sunday worship service “Is It Spring Yet?” with Rev. Barbara Jarrell and Friends.

Our service will be livestreamed on Facebook Live here.

Although we can’t be together in our church building, the church is everywhere we are and we will celebrate life rising up again.

If you’re on Facebook, just enter All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church- Shreveport, Louisiana in the search bar and go to the All Souls Facebook page around 10:55 to join in.

Because the All Souls Facebook page is a public page, you should be able to see the worship service whether or not you have a Facebook account.

You do need a Facebook account to “like” and comment on the worship service.

While we are remaining physically distant, we want to know how you are doing and what you need.  You can let us know using these online surveys.

And you can contribute to All Souls using this online resource.

Online All-Ages Worship (29 March 2020)

Please join us online on Sunday (29 March 2020) at 11:00 AM for “Strengthening the Web” with Rev. Barbara Jarrell.

You can join our worship service online here using Facebook Live Video that will be available on our Facebook page.

As we continue our season of focus on peace, social justice, and the interdependent web, we turn our focus to the ways that we sustain the web of connections between ourselves and all life.

Like everything in our lives right now, we are adapting to the changes in our daily routines.  This service will be changing again this week.

In order to follow the stay-at-home order issued by Louisiana Governor Edwards, each presenter in the service will be speaking from their respective homes.

We hope you will join us from your home.

Because the church page is a public page, you should be able to see the worship service whether or not you have a Facebook account.  However, you do need a Facebook account to “like” and comment on our online worship service.

And if you miss our worship due to work or other challenges in your life, we will save the  worship video on our Facebook page and our web site (check back later for more information).

As we continue our season focusing on peace, social justice, and the interdependent web, we are blessed to have two of our members share their spiritual paths which are centered around their love and respect for the Earth and nature.

Due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, our worship service will be an online streaming video service and we will not be meeting in person.  You can join us online here.

After the worship service, we are asking children and youth to join us on the religious education Zoom link.  We’ll have a time for sharing joys and concerns and a very short lesson.

Click on the link to download Zoom (if you don’t have it already) and to join the class.

15 March 2020 Worship Service and Religious Education for Children and Youth

Please join us on Sunday (15 March 2020) at 11:00 AM for our worship service.

We will also be live-streaming this service using Facebook Live on our congregation’s Facebook page tomorrow at 11:00 AM.

This is our last Sunday of in-person services due to the recent COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

We encourage everyone to use discretion in your decision to attend or not based on your own personal health risk for yourself and others.

For at the two weeks starting next Sunday (22 March 2020), we will move to online services only at All Souls and will evaluate after that time if we should resume in-person classes and worship services.

For 15 March 2020, religious education classes for children and youth are offered during the 11:00 AM service.  Children and youth attend the first 15-20 minutes of the service and then are dismissed to class.
