Building and Grounds Work Day — 11 May 2019

Please join us on Saturday (11 May 2019) for our monthly building and grounds work day.

The work of our physical church home is mostly done by us — the members and friends of the congregation.

If the weather turns out to be severe, stay safe, but if it’s just a little wet and manageable, we can tackle some of the indoor tasks such as sprucing up classrooms, changing the hallway bulletin board, shredding old papers, etc.

Come and join us for the whole time if you’re available, or give as much time as you can.

If your day is too jammed with other stuff, consider dropping off some snacks for the crew.

Adult Religious Education — 12 May 2019

Please join us on Sunday (12 May 2019) at 9:15 AM for our adult religious education class — we continue our exploration of “The Story of God:  Apocalypse.”

We will further explore the idea of “Apocalypse” — a view of the “end times” and what that means from the perspective of different faith traditions.

Although Morgan Freeman has indeed played the role of God in the past, in this National Geographic documentary series he steps into the role of explorer of the idea of God in all its myriad forms around the world.

Rev. Dr. William Barber II at All Souls — 10 May 2019

On Friday morning (10 May 2019) at 10:00 AM, we hope as many of you as possible can join us to welcome Rev. Dr. William Barber II.

Rev. Barber is bringing the Poor People’s Campaign here to Shreveport.

We realize the morning event may be hard for many to attend — but if you can possibly take the time off — this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for you and our church.
