Building and Grounds Work Day (10 December 2022)

Please join us on Saturday (10 December 2022) from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for our monthly building and grounds work day.

There are tons of leaves and lots of other tasks — indoors and out — for all ages and abilities.

Other than basic cleaning and lawn maintenance, all the tasks that maintain our building and grounds are done by you — our members and friends.

This is a great opportunity for you to know others in your All Souls community a little better while working side by side to take care of the physical space that houses our spiritual home.

North Louisiana Interfaith — December 2022 Give-Away-The-Plate Recipient

Each month we dedicate all of our non-pledge income to an organization doing the work that best embodies our Unitarian Universalist principles and values.

For the month of December 2022, we choose North Louisiana Interfaith.

Interfaith is a non-partisan political organization made up of member institutions of which All Souls is one of many institutions.

We work together on issues that arise from our congregations at the local level and on statewide issues through our umbrella organization Together Louisiana.

As a member congregation, we make a financial pledge to Interfaith that we fulfill partially through our budget and supplement with Give Away the Plate giving twice each year.

Two ways to donate:

OnlineGo to our donation site using this link.  If you are paying your pledge, select “2022 Pledges” and enter that amount for your pledge contribution.  Then select “Collection Plate” to give the amount you would like to give to North Louisiana Interfaith and then put “GATP DEC 2022” or “Interfaith” in the comment section.  All online collection plate contributions for the month of December 2022 will go to North Louisiana Interfaith.

Offline — Please send your give away the plate contribution checks to All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, 9449 Ellerbe Road, Shreveport LA  71106.  Please put “North Louisiana Interfaith” on the memo line of the check if  you want to have 100% of this check go to North Louisiana Interfaith.  If you want less than 100% of the check to go to North Louisiana Interfaith, please put the amount you want going to North Louisiana Interfaith on the memo line.
