This is a sitting Buddhist meditation including a brief introduction to mindfulness meditation, 20 minutes of sitting, and followed by a weekly teaching.

Children and Youth Religious Education Schedule Changes This Week (9-15 May 2021)

Family Religious Education will not meet this Sunday afternoon (9 May 2021 — Mothers Day) and high school youth will not meet next Tuesday evening (11 May 2021) due to family travel conflicts.

Family Religious Education will resume the following week (16 May 2021) and high school youth will stay in touch about the next meeting via the text message thread and the All Souls Slack channel.

No Adult Religious Education Class This Sunday (9 May 2021)

The adult religious education class will not meet this Sunday (9 May 2021 — Mother’s Day) but will resume on the following Sunday (16 May 2021).

On 16 May 2021, we will resume our White Fragility book study group with Susan Caldwell and Barbara Deger (using the book by Robin DiAngelo).

No Building and Grounds Day at Church This Saturday (8 May 2021)

We are not doing our customary second Saturday of the month building and grounds work day this Saturday (8 May 2021).

Instead, all who is available are welcome to help with packing for a congregant who is moving in the early part of next week.

Online Religious Education for Children (2 May 2021)

Please join us online for our family religious education class on Sunday (2 May 2021) at 1:00 PM via Zoom.

The Zoom link will be available on the All Souls Slack and on the All Souls Religious Education Facebook Group.

“Peaceful Fights for Equal Rights” — We will watch a video combining this story read aloud with video from protests of last summer.

We will also spend some time talking about which of the activities in the book we have done and which we might like to do or need to do in working on the issues that face us now.
