20 May 2018 Worship Service and Religious Education for Children and Youth

Please join us on Sunday (20 May 2018) at 11:00 AM for “Yours, Mine, and Ours” by Rev. Barbara Jarrell.

The All Souls Choir will sing two of Rev. Barbara’s new songs.

This will be her last time in the pulpit before Rev. Barbara takes the first part of her summer vacation / study leave.

Religious education classes for children and youth are offered during the 11:00 AM service.

Children and youth attend the first 15-20 minutes of the service and then are dismissed to class.

This week we will continue with a longer segment of Pema Chodrun on “Dealing with Difficult Emotions.”

We haven’t forgotten Daring Democracy: Igniting Power, Meaning, and Connection for the America We Want by Frances Moore Lappe and Adam Eichen — we’re just giving ourselves a stronger foundation for our continued study of this book.

On this Mother’s Day, join us for three perspectives on the different ages and stages of motherhood and how this has influenced the spiritual journey.

Rev. Barbara is back in the pulpit this morning and the All Souls Choir will sing.

A newcomer information session will follow the service.  We show a DVD from the Unitarian Universalist Association, talk more about our faith tradition, our congregation, and listen to your stories as you are willing and comfortable to tell them.  Child care will be provided.
