This is a sitting Buddhist meditation including a brief introduction to mindfulness meditation, 20 minutes of sitting, and followed by a weekly teaching.

Summer religious education is more art and activity-based.
All children and youth are with us in the service for the first 20 minutes or so and then are dismissed to their activities.
Children and youth are invited to paint their own chalices with Ash McLain and a 2nd teacher TBD this Sunday.
Middle and High School youth are invited to paint a chalice, help out in the classroom, or of course they are welcome to stay in the service if they prefer.
Programming for both classes will be back next week.
The Saturday 10:30 AM weekly meditation group with Larry Androes will not be meeting this Saturday (2 July 2022).

Please join us on Sunday (12 June 2022) at 11:00 AM for “The Light at the End of the Tunnel” — an Affirmation Sunday Service honoring our
high school graduate Andrew Lawrence and a recent college graduate.
We will be meeting in the sanctuary for this worship service. Please join us in person at All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, 9449 Ellerbe Road, Shreveport LA 71106 if you are able to do so.
Our service will also be livestreamed on Facebook Live here if you cannot attend in person.
Although the number of new COVID cases and hospitalizations has increased in the Shreveport metro area, we are still safe to have to in-person worship at this time.
When we are indoors at All Souls, we will continue to require proof of vaccination for all attendees ages 11 and up. However, if you cannot be vaccinated, we also accept a negative COVID test in the past 24 hours. We are also required the wearing of masks for all in-person attendees.
Religious education classes for children and youth resumes this Sunday as well. The children and youth will be with us for the first 15-20 minutes of the worship service before we sing them out to their classes.
