17 February 2013 Worship Service

Please join us on Sunday (17 February 2013) at 11:00 AM for “If We Agree in Love … ” where we will celebrate 30 Days of Love and the wisdom found in our third source.

Using the words of Hosea Ballou as our guide, we celebrate the last day of the Unitarian Universalist Association’s 30 Days of Love campaign by exploring the ways our Universalist heritage has led us to an appreciation of the wisdom of many faiths that teaches us to stand for love in the world.

Join us immediately following the service for a Visioning Potluck where we will share food and conversation about the future of our church.

3 February 2013 Worship Service

Please join us this Sunday (3 February 2013) for our 11:00 AM Worship Service. The sermon is “Beyond Pro-Life and Pro-Choice” by Melissa Gibson, Amanda Lawrence, and Susan Caldwell.

This worship service commemorates the 40th Anniversary of the US Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade Decision and also kicks off our exploration of the Unitarian Universalist Association’s 2012-2016 congregation study/action issue (“Reproductive Justice: Expanding Our Social Justice Calling“).

Our speaker will be noted civil rights attorney and All Souls member Henry Walker.

A Special Congregational Meeting and Town Hall Meeting with the Exploratory Committee will follow the service.

22 December 2012 Worship Service

Please join us on Sunday (22 December 2012) at 11:00 AM for our Loving Others is Loving God worship service.

This worship service is a celebration of the Winter Holidays and our Fourth Source (Jewish and Christian Teachings that call us to respond to God’s love by loving our neighbors as ourselves).

Stay after the service for the All-Ages Holiday Party.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Please join us on Monday (24 December 2012) at 6:30 PM for our annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service.

Our traditional service features a reading of the Christmas Story from the book of Luke, music from the All Souls Choir, and special guest musicians (Sally Hundemer, Cynthia Diaczynsky, Tom Hundemer, and Charlie Caldwell).

Please bring the children to church by 6:00 PM to prepare for the “12 Days of Christmas.”  All children, including guests, are welcome to participate.
