Thanksgiving Worship Service and Feast (20 November 2016)

thanksgivingdinnerplatePlease join us on Sunday (20 November 2016) for our annual Thanksgiving Worship Service led by Rev. Barbara Jarrell which will be followed by our Thanksgiving feast.

As always, we will have a shorter service in the sanctuary followed by a Thanksgiving Communion ritual in the social hall and our feast.

Join us as we unite to pay tribute to those who have served and are serving now.

Please join us on Sunday (6 November 2016) at 11:00 AM for “A Christian Nation” and the Jesus I Know” by Rev. Barbara Jarrell.

Rev. Jarrell contrasts the ideas of those who claim ours is a “Christian nation” with her own experience of Christianity and with the teacher Jesus.

A newcomer information session will follow the service — all are welcome.

grouphugchalicePlease join us on Sunday (23 October 2016) at 11:00 AM for “Love is the Doctrine of This Church —  A Service in Celebration of our Unitarian Universalist History and Identity” presented by the children, youth, and adults of All Souls.

Taking the first three lines of the Unison Affirmation as our theme, we celebrate our loving and inclusive message, our free and responsible search for truth, and our dedication to “walking our talk” in service and activism, throughout history and in the present day.

16 October 2016 Worship Service and Religious Education for Children and Youth

At the time of year that our Jewish friends have observed Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement) we explore the idea of asking forgiveness and letting go of what does not serve.

A Burning Bowl ceremony will follow the service.
