No Adult Religious Education Classes (19 November 2017)

There are no adult religious education classes this Sunday (19 November 2017).  Our class will resume at 9:15 AM on 26 November 2017.

Our session next Sunday is adapted from Understanding The Bible: An Introduction for Skeptics, Seekers, and Religious Liberals (based on a book of the same name by former UUA President John Buehrens).

We will be exploring several stories from the Hebrew Testament.

12 November 2017 Worship Service and Religious Education for Children and Youth

Please join us on Sunday (12 November 2017) at 11:00 AM for “The Blind Men and the Trinity” by Rev. Barbara Jarrell.

This is a continuation of our exploration of the Christian tradition with new perspectives on the Trinity.

Religious education classes for children and youth are offered during the 11:00 AM service.

Children and youth attend the first 15-20 minutes of the service and then are dismissed to class.

Adult Religious Education — 12 November 2017

Please join us on Sunday (12 November 2017) at 9:15 AM for our adult religious education class.

We’ll be exploring the scriptures of the Hebrew and Christian testaments — looking this week specifically at versions and translations and their effect on the message.

Please join us on Sunday (5 November 2017) at 11:00 AM for “The Person and the Presence” by Rev. Barbara Jarrell.

We are continuing our exploration of the Christian tradition from which the streams of Unitarianism and Universalism have sprung — and the new perspectives arising within that tradition today.

Religious education classes for children and youth are offered during the 11:00 AM service.

Children and youth attend the first 15-20 minutes of the service and then are dismissed to class.
