An Opportunity to Feed the Fuller Center Builders — Friday, 3 May 2013 — Volunteers Arrive at 5:15 PM — Our Lady of The Blessed Sacrament (1558 Buena Vista, Shreveport LA).
Many of you may have heard that Roger Waters of Pink Floyd has made a large donation to the Fuller Center for Housing for the purpose of building houses for veterans.
Every week, crews from all over the country are coming in to work on the build for a week at a time.
Congregations and other organizations from across the Shreveport-Bossier area are taking turns feeding the workers.
Friday (3 May 2013) All Souls will provide dinner as a part of the Highland Ministries Partnership (Note – you will also see the workers when they come to eat at the Highland Blessing Dinner on Thursday evening).

And don’t forget to bring a dish to share and stay for the potluck after the service!
Potluck This Sunday After Church (21 April 2013)
Whether you cook or bake your specialty, or slave over a hot takeout counter, bring a dish to share and stay for a meal and some time together with your All Souls community.
Help needed with Set-Up and Clean-Up
Much of our regular potluck crew will be busy with other obligations this week, so it’s a great time for some new faces helping out in the social hall. If you can help set up, please come around 10:30 AM.
Also, those who work the Highland Dinner have learned how quickly the cleanup goes when everyone helps so be sure to stick around for the Big Finish.
SHOUT! — Breaking the Silence Through Creativity — Centenary Outreach Maker’s Fair and Art Show (20 April 2013)
Each year, Outreach has an event for the National Day of Silence on 19 April, which respects those who have been bullied due to gender identity, gender expression, and/or sexual orientation.
This year, they are holding a Maker’s Fair to Break the Silence on Saturday (20 April 2013) from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Jones Rice Field on the Centenary College campus (the field borders Centenary Blvd. at the back of the campus).
All Souls will have an information table at the fair and Jonathan Gibson will have a vendor’s booth to sell his specialty candles — so drop by and show your support for Centenary College’s Outreach, our All Souls members, and a terrific cause!
