We are saying entirely too many farewells these days, but (even as we mourn the loss to our community) we congratulate Tamila Allen on a new job opportunity in Dallas and offer her our best wishes as she makes this move. Her youngest daughter Sarah Allen will be going with her.

Please join us at 10:30 AM for our annual Artists Sunday Worship. All generations will worship together in the sanctuary for this special service. Nursery care for children 3 and under will be provided beginning at 9:30 AM.

Starting next Sunday (8 June 2014) and continuing throughout the summer vacation season, the entire church community (children, youth, and adults) will take a break from our 9:00 AM Religious Education hour.
We will have our worship service at 10:30 AM.
For most Sunday services, the children and youth will leave the worship service after the first 15 to 20 minutes to enjoy their fun and relaxing summer activities.
On very rare occasions, we will have an all-ages worship service where the children and youth stay with us for the entire worship service (this will be announced on our website and on Facebook).
Please join us this Sunday (1 June 2014) for our 9:15 AM Brunch for All Ages (this brunch will replace our Sunday Religious Education for all ages for this Sunday).
Bring your favorite brunch or breakfast treat to share with your All Souls friends. Join us in the Social Hall to celebrate Affirmation Sunday and the beginning of summer.

All active members should attend this meeting or give their proxies to those who can.
Inactive members and friends of the church are invited and encouraged to participate, but bylaws stipulate that only those members who have been active 30 days or longer may vote.
We must have a quorum. Childcare provided.
Please come and find bargains at our garage sale (Saturday, 17 May 2014, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Gibson household – 9312 Wiscassett Drive, Shreveport LA).

We need your gently used and reasonably clean junk for our garage sale (Saturday, 17 May 2014, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Gibson household – 9312 Wiscassett Drive, Shreveport LA).
You may drop your garage sale items off at the Gibson’s house starting Saturday, 10 May 2014.
Please join us on Saturday (10 May 2014) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
We’ll be putting the Social Hall back together now that the painting is done, and there will be many other tasks, inside and out.
Stay the whole time, come work for an hour or so, or just drop by with some snacks for the crew! Working side by side is a great way to build community with your All Souls friends and your friends-to-be.
